INSPIRATION ARISTO IN MY SKIN

The excentric and blue blooded, Honourable Daphne Guinness feature in Vogue Italia intrigues and provocs as it gives one the lust & desire to stribe after a style where there are no bounderies. This is Lady Gaga, before Gaga even was born. 

Guinness was a great collector and follower of the late Lee Alexander McQueen and would in many occasion be seen dressed in McQueen from head to toe. 

The feature inspires in it's composition to the scenography of the background, the pieces & layers on Guinness to the blueish lightening. 

Most of all it inspires to dress without thinking of occasion and with the attitude of an 'aristobrat' gone rouge... rocking ones feathers out...

In the latest T Magazine for spring 2011, Balenciaga's spring dresses are featured in a spread by fashion editor/Stylist, Vanessa Traina. 

The editoral is with the actress Salma Hayeck, featured as the parisienne housewife. A rather luxuries housewife lying on the floor in pieces from Balenciaga to Yves Saint Laurent, but a fierce one and that we do like with the bonus of Balenciaga....

The film festival at Cannes is as much abut the evenings and 'les soirée' held for 'les peoples' as it is a view into the world of the cinema. The film festival considerd as one of the or if not the most important festival in cinema, is a red hot week of passion for the cinema & for fashionista's of the red carpet to the long evenings of delights...

RAINY SUNDAY SUN

It was maybe about time the rain came falling down on the city. As the summer had indeed come early and with no delay giving the idea one could soon just say 'summer time'. 

So what should one do on a rainy sunday or better said, what could one do? 

Loving the rain, one could go out and let the feathers feel the drops of rain, but needing sleep or wanting to just need it, one could just stay in bed...

With the window slightly open, listening to the rain fall down on the ground with the wind blowing - there is a peace of mind.

So from a flocker to a flocker just breathe and let your mind be taken away with the rain...

INSPIRATION COLOR BY LAYER

There is a difference in the way one notices a person. Some stand out immediately by their beauty, the physical attraction - where you can not but stop and let your gaze follow. 

Then their is the style - a persons style. The excentric style or colorful combination that will surprise - the minimalist style that will seem pure, but with an edge and then the layering of  different prints or styles that would seem to not work, but does, because this is truly intriguing & maybe a little bit of to much.

There is a fine line and it takes time or just a good eye to see. Usually a lot of trying and mistakes does it...

The interesting part is when you can sense it even before it is on you. That is a gift or perhaps just an expensive learning through a stylist...

Inspiration is always the fuel to ones creative mind and so is a colorful & fun layering as featured here.
